| "It's not the amount of power that makes you great, but how you use that power. Responsibility." - My brother The club is nothing without its heart and soul. We will miss you. This is not supposed to make sense. If you know what I'm talking about, you'll get it. | | |
| All right, so everyone who comes here most likely is at school, but this is a nice thing for you guys to see when you get home. As some of you know, I haven't been feeling well lately. I've been coughing a lot and it hurts to eat things and such. Well, I went to the doctor's yesterday and that's the reason why I'm typing this and not at school. The doctor did a strep test and everything and it came back negative. Good, right? HAH! He told me it was either a cold-thing that's been going around, or -what my parents believe- laryngitis, which is also going around. Soon after said visit, my voice started cracking and it became hard to get it back to normal. This morning, I woke up and could hardly talk. Now, it either sounds like a very distorted version of me speaking, or I whisper. I whisper very softly. So, the doctor said if I was feeling bad, stay home. I'm home for today, but I'll be coming tomorrow. Do not try to call and and talk to me. That would be just plain evil. For ways of talking, I'll be using a pad of paper if I still can't talk tomorrow. So, I finish this up with a nice little message: Speaking is for Squares! | | |
| Well, for those of you who have been invited (can't invite too many people), you all know I'm having a group birthday party soon. I've gotten several calls from people asking what I want. To simplify this, here we are:
I like the musical artist 'Cascada' (but Tina hinted she was getting this already)
I like the band the 'Goo Goo Dolls'
If you can find a used DVD (A.K.A. something cheap and afordable) of 'National Treasure', or 'Ice Age 2' that would be awesome
I want to see 'Rent', but that would probably cost a pretty penny, so bad idea...
You guys know what I like, right? Anime things, Gundam, Inuyasha, FMA, Fruist Basket (already got the new one), Wolf's Rain, etc.
That should be all you need, really. A gift certificate is good too.
| So, here I am: Back in the states. I got back yesterday. I enjoyed the trip; not as good as China, but still nice. I'm was quite homesick this time around for some reason... Well, I actually think I know that reason, but I'll not talk about that for the moment. I have a few things for friends and I'm hopefully going to have a party this year.
Party? Oh, yes. It was my birthday yesterday as well. I was seranaded several times over during the last three days. Got a few presents, money. That stuff.
Of course, during great celebration comes great tragedy. It happened before I even came home; 8:20 in the morning. I was on the plane then, right? Aunt Janet died. Dad told me at the airport. Mom and Dad said it went quick. They told her I was coming home and I wanted to see her. Mom could tell she wanted to see me as well. She just couldn't hold on any longer- the pain was too much and the medicine wasn't working as it should've. I bought her something in Venice. It was a glass dragonfly brouche. Mom said I should wear it to remember her by. I'm going to wear it at the funeral.
We're leaving on Sunday morning to get to the wake and funeral. I think they're both on Sunday, but I was in a daze when my parents told me. Ryan wanted to come home to be there for them, but Dad insisted he stay at Boy Scout camp; he doesn't need to remember her in that way... I'll be gone for a few days; two or three. Mom says we shouldn't stay down there longer than need be. I don't think I'll be able to make it through this one without crying, though. I can't write about it anymore; just thought I should let you guys know. Hope I'll be able to talk with some of you before I leave.
| Well, everyone, here I go! Today's the day! Off to Europe for the next month! I uploaded a song for your own personal listening preference, so be happy to enjoy it while you read.
I'll try and find a computer somewhere to drop by and send out e-mails to my buddies, but don't be surprised if you don't hear from me. I'll be (hopefully...) bringing back a small thing for my buddies as well, but don't expect much (kinda tight on money this year 'roud... ).
I get back on the 27th (my grand ol' B-Day), so give me a ring if you know me then. I'll be going for a few days and then just drop, I know it...
So, with lack of anything else to say... BON VOYAGE!
